Dr. Wendy Barrett is a Colorado native. She grew up in a suburb of Denver and graduated from University of Colorado, Boulder in 2002 with a B.S. in Journalism and Mass Communications with an emphasis in Advertising; she quickly moved to Los Angeles where she worked in Corporate America until she could not ignore her calling to become a physician any longer. After moving back to Denver, she began working towards her goal and completed her pre-requisites for medical school at University of Colorado, Denver. She then completed her medical degree at Rocky Vista University and attended residency at Skyridge Medical Center/Rocky Vista University. Dr. Barrett is board certified in Internal Medicine and has been practicing medicine since 2016. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, traveling and as a self-proclaimed foodie, she enjoys cooking, baking, and trying new restaurants.
